Wizards MUST consider Thomas Robinson

 Thomas Robinson
6'10 237 lbs
Junior Year: 17.9 ppg, 11.7 rpg, 1.9 apg

Even if Anthony Davis is sitting right there in front of us, the Wizards must STRONGLY consider drafting Thomas Robinson out of Kansas. Thomas Robinson has decided to forgo his senior season at Kansas and enter the NBA Draft. He may not have been the biggest game changer, but he was the most dominant big man on the offensive side of the ball. With the Wizards in search of a scorer, Robinson has to be an option.

Listed at 6'10, he has exceptional footwork and a great first step. His post moves are fluid and he handles the ball with ease. Another thing that excites me about Thomas Robinson is that he has gotten exceptionally better year after year at Kansas. In 3 years, he went from averaging 2.5 ppg to 17.9 ppg. This shows that he is willing to learn and work harder than any of his competition, something the Wizards would love to see on their roster.

There is not much to dislike about Robinson except for the fact that he's a Jayhawk, but I would like to see an improved mid-range game. He is inconsistent from beyond 15 but this can be corrected with repetition.
